Reports to Head Nurse of assigned unit.
In the absence of the Head Nurse reports to the Deputy HeadNurse or Designee.
Responsible for:-
The assessment of care needs and thedevelopment, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care using agreed frameworks.
Participation in the supervision and teaching of nure interns and nurse aides, as appropriate.
Taking charge of the ward / unit in the absence of the Head Nurse, Deputy Head Nurse or Designee.
